Ballarat Beer Festival
Ten Reasons to Head to the Ballarat Beer Festival this February
1. It’s the perfect place for a beer fest…
Ballarat is the home of Australian micro brewing with over 3500 home brewers in the region
2. Even more beers…
The selection is bigger than ever. There are over 150 brews to sample on the day including 14 breweries from the GABS Hottest 100 plus many new and unique releases.
3. It’s the best party in town…
There are bands all day and night including the iconic Dallas Crane, Spoonful, Kelly Auty and more.
4. It isn’t all about beer...
Enjoy cocktails, award-winning regional wines, seltzers and more. Plus there’s loads of alcohol free and low alcohol brews to sample.
5. Fully independent…
The festival celebrates and exclusively supports local and independent breweries and producers - one of the few remaining festivals to commit to a purely independent showcase.
6. There’s loads of craft beer culture to experience…
The festival includes beer education classes, blind tastings, silent disco, the popular brewers sack race and plenty more to keep punters busy.
7. It’s family friendly…
Bring the fam and visit our animal farm and take part in fun craft activities throughout the day.
8. It all kicks off with a fancy dinner…
Those keen to make a weekend of it can grab tickets to Friday nights 5 course Degustation Dinner which pairs craft beer and wine to each course and features entertainment from the Beer Diva.
9. Doggos are welcome…
Bring your furry friend to enjoy the lush surrounds of North Gardens with plenty of shade and dog bowls provided.
10. It supports the community
Every year the festival contributes between $600k and $800k into local suppliers, restaurants, accommodation and more and in 2023 the festival is proudly supporting Variety – the Children’s Charity to help kids living with disability, disadvantage and illness.
