West HQ Breaks from tradition with A Two-Car Ultimate Family Giveaway

West HQ has officially announced the winner of its major “Yours. Mine. Ours.” Promotion - and what makes this different to other car giveaway promotions: two cars for one winner.
The recipient is Hassall Grove local Ramon De Castro – a long-time member whose life revolves around his close-knit family, including four energetic grandchildren.
For Ramon, the win is more than a prize; it’s an unexpected moment of joy for a family that has grown, worked and celebrated milestones across Western Sydney for decades.
His story reflects the community spirit that defines West HQ, and the many multigenerational families who see the precinct as part of their everyday lives.
The promotion, which ran throughout October and November, was specifically designed to reflect the reality of Western Sydney’s multigenerational households - where grandparents, parents and adult children often share one home and require mobility for different generations simultaneously.
The prize package included a Kia EV3 Air, an all-electric SUV, and a Kia Hybrid Sportage SX HEV, alongside a suite of experiences across the precinct, from family shows at the Coliseum Theatre to stays in the Novotel Sydney West HQ and fitness memberships at SGAC and One55.
Richard Errington, West HQ Chief Executive Officer, said that the Yours. Mine. Ours. The campaign has been one of the most engaging promotions delivered because it speaks directly to how families in Western Sydney live today.
“Multigenerational households are now the norm across the region, and this prize was designed to support that reality, whether it’s mobility, time together or access to entertainment and wellbeing experiences,” Mr Errington said.
“That’s what makes this special and genuinely life-changing, as it is providing one family with two cars. More than 50 per cent of families visiting West HQ are multigenerational, and this prize was designed specifically for them and the experiences they can share as a family”.
We’re thrilled to award this prize to the De Castro family and to celebrate a moment that will genuinely make a difference.”
Over the course of the promotion, over 100,000 entry forms were generated by Members and Guests spending across West HQ’s dining, fitness, accommodation and entertainment venues for the chance to secure one of 24 keys drawn weekly on Thursdays and Fridays. All key holders returned to West HQ for the final draw on 30 November, where one key successfully unlocked the prize door.
The remaining key holders each received a $500 cash consolation prize.
The initiative built on strong engagement with an array of on-site Kia vehicle activations and a Kia EV5 test drive program. As the first activation of its kind in Australia, it enabled families to explore an electric vehicle and be exposed to the vehicles in a convenient, community setting.
Heartland Motor Group Chief Executive Officer Rohan Meyer said the activations reflected a shift in how customers want to explore new vehicles.
“People increasingly expect brands to come to them, not the other way around. Offering test drives at West HQ has been a first for us in Australia and a meaningful way to give families hands-on access to our latest models,” he said.
“To finish with two new Kias going to a local family is a fantastic outcome and something we’re very proud to support.”
The partnership between West HQ, Kia and Heartland Motor Group has delivered a uniquely community-led experience.
For Ramon and his family, this moment now becomes part of their story – a reminder that Western Sydney is a place where community is genuine, and where opportunities like this can have a lasting impact.
By combining a significant prize with an understanding of how Western Sydney families live, the “Yours. Mine. Ours.” promotion has offered something well beyond a typical giveaway – and one that reflects the heart of the West HQ community
